Our locally-made chunky style Chickpea Miso offers a sweet and bold flavor, blending and fermenting the highest quality domestic ingredients with our Los Angeles climate. We use handcrafted organic rice koji and ancient salt from Utah to add extra nutrition and depth. It's the only miso made with ancient sea salt on the market. This flavorful miso makes it easy to prepare authentic miso soups at home. Try it as a salty-sweet spread on sandwiches, for dipping vegetables and making dressings. Experiment!

Simple Miso Soup Preparation: (adjust to taste)
Put 1 level Tbsp of miso in a soup bowl. Add 8-10 oz. of fresh hot water. Gently mash the miso until it dissolves. Add chopped scallions and wakame seaweed as desired. Stir and enjoy the savory goodness!
You can also use Angeleno Miso in dressings, dips and spreads to add a salty-sweet umami kick!
