Q: When and how long do I need to take Amazake?

In order to appreciate the full benefit of Amazake, it’s recommended to take a small amount regularly. As a start, try it for a month to begin seeing the effectiveness of Amazake. Also, you can experiment with different times, depending on your needs:

To benefit healthy skin, you can take Amazake in the evening, as skin metabolism will occur during the night.

To activate the brain, you can take Amazake in the morning.

To restore your energy, you can take Amazake as a snack while studying, before a performance, or after exercise.

Q: How much Amazake can I take per day?

Even though our Amazake is naturally sweet with no added sugar, like anything, it is good to take a moderate amount. As a guideline, you can take Pure Amazake or Japan-Crafted Amazake up to 4 oz (85ml) per day or two bottles of Vegan Amazake Latte daily. Of course, you can also take less than that. As you tune into your body, it will tell you what it needs.

Q: Is your Amazake non-alcoholic?

Yes, it is. Our Amazake is non-alcoholic and made from Spring Water, Rice Koji and Organic Rice.

Q: Is your Amazake Kosher?

All our amazake products are kosher compliant, although they have not been certified kosher yet.

Q: Is your Koji Spores Kosher?

Our Koji spores are certified by OK Laboratories.

Shipping

Q: My tracking says the package was delivered, but I haven’t received it. What should I do?

We’re sorry to hear that! Sometimes, packages are marked as delivered a little early or are picked up by someone else nearby by mistake. We recommend:

    • Checking with others in your household or building
    • Asking nearby neighbors or businesses
    • Looking around your mailbox, front desk, or delivery area

In many cases, missing packages have turned up this way.

If you’re still unable to locate it, please contact the shipping carrier directly:

Q: My order arrived with a melted ice pack. Is it still safe to use?

Yes! Shio Koji, Tamari Koji, and Miso are fermented products and can tolerate short periods without refrigeration during shipping. We include ice packs as an added precaution, especially in warmer months, but it’s completely normal for them to melt in transit.

As long as the products were not left out for an extended time—such as overnight in high heat or direct sunlight—and the packaging is intact, they are still safe to use. Please refrigerate them once received.

Q: Why are we using plastic instead of glass containers for shipping?

To avoid any issues during shipping (broken glass, pieces of glass) we utilize recyclable BPA free plastic bottles. This is for consumer safety and having a safe product when it arrives at the stores or at your door.

If you have any concerns about your order, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
